What would you do with the space if it were clear?

You may have a clear plan for the space, or just know the overgrowth needs to go. We’ll walk the property with you, identify the trees and brush in the way, and discuss what you want to keep.

Make room for a casita, workshop or addition

Show us where you hope to build. We can assess the vegetation in that area and explain the clearing work in your proposal. Design, permits, grading and construction remain separate parts of your project.

Part of the yard has become hard to use

An overgrown corner, dense brush or unwanted trees may be keeping you from using the space the way you want. Tell us what you hope to keep as well as what you want removed.

Get an overgrown lot under control

A vacant parcel or commercial property may need selected areas opened before you decide what comes next. If you manage an HOA or occupied property, tell us which resident routes and daily activities the work needs to account for.

Another contractor needs room to begin

Share what the next phase requires. B&C can describe the vegetation work and finish included in our proposal, so you know where our work ends and the next contractor’s work begins.

You don’t need to choose equipment or work out a clearing method. Tell us what you want to change, and we’ll help you understand the next step.

Plan My Clearing Project

Shape the clearing plan

What needs to be cleared, and what should stay?

Clearing brush is different from removing mature trees or dealing with stumps. We’ll review what is in the way and the condition you need at the end, so your proposal covers the work your property actually needs.

An excavator handles large tree material during active clearing work. Equipment needs depend on the vegetation, access and agreed scope.

Can B&C clear only part of the property?

Yes. Selective clearing can focus on a backyard area, access route or another agreed boundary while keeping selected trees, landscaping and property features in place.

Can tree, brush and stump work be combined?

We can assess them together and identify each part of the work in your proposal. Grinding lowers a stump below the surface; it does not remove the whole root system. Stump or root-ball extraction needs a separate assessment of access and the intended use.

What happens to the cut material?

We’ll discuss where the cut material will go before work begins. Your proposal will say whether hauling, chipping or placement on the property is included, based on access and the amount of material.

What will the next contractor need?

Vegetation clearing does not automatically include grading, compaction, drainage work or construction preparation. Tell us what comes next so the written scope can describe the finish B&C will provide.

Greater Phoenix properties

The route into the property matters as much as the work area.

A Phoenix backyard enclosed by block walls needs a different approach from open East Valley acreage. Narrow gates, pools and irrigation can limit where equipment can travel. On occupied commercial or HOA properties, access for residents and visitors also needs to be discussed.

  • How will equipment reach the area?Gate width, side yards, turns, parked vehicles and overhead obstructions can change the approach.
  • What needs protection?Point out retained trees, irrigation, pool equipment, walls and improvements before the work is priced.
  • Where can material be handled?Room to stage, chip or load cut material affects the plan, along with dust and loose-debris control.
  • Who needs access during the work?Tell us about shared driveways, resident walkways, deliveries or other work scheduled on the property.

A straightforward next step

From your first question to a written quote

Start with the property address and what you want to change. Photos and approximate dimensions help if you have them, but you don’t need a finished plan to contact us.

  1. Tell us about the property

Tell us which area concerns you, what you hope to use it for and any target date another project depends on.

  2. Walk through what stays and what goes

B&C reviews the vegetation, access, nearby features, material volume and any stump or root work that needs discussion.

  3. Decide with the work and price in writing

Your proposal explains the work included, what is outside the scope, where the cut material goes and how the area will be left. Review the price and scheduling details before you authorize work.

HOA tree-work experience

Over 26 trees removed. 30-plus trees trimmed.

In her BBB review, Jaclyn B. describes an HOA project where B&C removed over 26 trees and trimmed 30-plus trees that remained. She reports that residents were happy with the crew onsite throughout the week of removals.

That experience matters when you’re coordinating substantial tree work around people who still live or work on the property. Jaclyn’s account describes tree removal and trimming, with daily cleanup as the work progressed.

Plan the scope and price

What will shape your clearing quote?

The size of the lot is only part of the price. A small, crowded backyard can take more planning than a larger open area. Tree size, access and the amount of material to move all affect the work.

Know what you are approving

Ask us to explain anything that is unclear or missing from the quote. If you are comparing proposals, check that they cover the same clearing area, stump work, cleanup and final condition. The assessment is complimentary; paid work starts with your authorization.

Plan My Clearing Project
  • Area and vegetationThe clearing limits, density of growth, tree sizes and brush conditions affect the work involved.
  • Stumps and rootsGrinding, extraction or work around large roots must be discussed when the intended use requires it.
  • Equipment accessGate width, turns, terrain and room to work determine which equipment can reach the area.
  • Nearby featuresHomes, block walls, pools, utilities and landscaping to keep can require a more careful approach.
  • Material handlingThe amount of cut material and the included hauling, chipping or onsite placement affect the plan.
  • Expected finishYour intended use and the next contractor’s needs help define where B&C’s clearing scope ends.

Common questions

Questions to answer before clearing begins

A few practical answers can help you decide what to ask during your assessment.

What is included in a land-clearing proposal?

Your proposal identifies the area to clear, what stays and the work included. It also explains any stump or root work, where the cut material will go, how the area will be left, the price and scheduling details. Ask us to clarify anything before you approve it.

Can B&C clear only part of a property?

Yes. The work can focus on a backyard area, access route or another agreed portion of the property. During the assessment, show us what should stay as well as what should go.

Can B&C clear space for a casita, workshop or addition?

B&C can assess the vegetation work around the area you intend to use. Our proposal will describe our clearing scope. Design, permits, grading, construction and final site preparation remain separate unless specifically confirmed in writing.

How is land clearing different from landscape cleanup?

Land clearing removes trees, brush or heavier vegetation from an area you want to use differently. Landscape cleanup is better suited to a maintained yard that needs weeds, fallen branches or ordinary landscape debris addressed.

Compare B&C landscape cleanup
Can trees, brush and stumps be handled in the same project?

They can be assessed together, but the proposal must identify each kind of work. Stump grinding does not remove the whole root system, and extraction is not included unless B&C confirms it is appropriate and lists it.

What happens to cleared material?

Your written proposal states whether hauling, chipping or placement on the property is included. We’ll discuss the options for your site and agree where material will go before work starts.

How do access and utilities affect the work?

Gate width, turns, overhead obstructions and room around walls, pools or landscaping can affect equipment choice. Identify known utilities, irrigation and private improvements before work. Utility-location and permit responsibilities must be confirmed for the specific project.

Are permits, plant rules or dust-control requirements involved?

They may be. Requirements and responsibilities vary by jurisdiction, plants, property and work method. Identify open questions before approving the scope, including who will obtain any required authorization.

What affects cost and scheduling?

The clearing area, vegetation, tree or stump work, access, equipment needs, material handling and expected finish all affect the proposal. Share any target date, but wait for B&C to confirm scheduling. Sending the form does not reserve a crew.

Where does B&C provide property clearing?

B&C serves Greater Phoenix and the East Valley, including Phoenix, Mesa, Gilbert, Chandler, Scottsdale and Paradise Valley. Share the property address so the team can confirm service and arrange the assessment.
